Cultural artist, Singer-songwriter, Poet, Dancer, Performer of Spoken word, Storyteller, Novelist, and New Mom.
Artwork are inspired by Japanese mythology and explored the possibilities of consciousness and voices inherent within the body, expressed through various forms such as music, dance, literature, and installations.
She has developed her own world by mixing ancient story with nowadays music and has developed the ‘Kojiki new translation series’ - a Japanese-style contemporary opera that reinterprets Japanese mythology from a female perspective using song and dance. Since 2015, she performs in concerts over the world, beginning with Europe.
She has also developed her activities as an artist and was granted the prize ‘KDCC Northern Kyûshû digital creative contest’ with her collaborative art (a real time projection mapping performance ) with Anderson Sudario. Her performance video was selected for the finalists for the Berlin ‘WomenCinemakers Biennial2018’. She was awarded the grand prize for the regional art festival MMM in 2021 with her community art. Her art performance was selected for the finalist of ARTE LAGUNA PRIZE in 2024. (Venice, Italy)
She has also created works that reflect contemporary society, such as the 'COVID19-20 Project,' a series of music pieces recorded worldwide with field recordings during the lockdown, and 'Little God Sukunabikona,' a 360-degree singing and dancing hologram piece that allows viewers to enjoy the work without concerns about droplets, which was exhibited in Belgium. She explores the possibilities of womanhood, producing a maternity music video where she dances at nine months pregnant, as well as a maternity nude artwork expressing the joys and anxieties of pregnancy and childbirth, and an NFT artwork titled 'Maternity Eternity' with 10 months berry. In 2024, she published a long fantasy novel based on Japanese mythology with Gakken Publishing
Currently, she is active as a unique artist bringing Japanese mythology to a global audience. Born in Tokyo, she graduated from Waseda University, holds a Level 1 Shrine Certification(highest), and is a director of the general incorporated association SHOEHORN, supporting the independence of young people leaving child welfare facilities. She is also a new mother.
